About St Charles Lococo House IICentury old charm! The three-story Lococo House was built in 1907 by William Knoblauch on the site of a brickyard. The house is made of 300,000 bricks over hand-hewn timbers.
Cozy Elegance
Oak mantled fireplaces in several rooms are set off by emerald green glass brick. Each room is
decorated with family photos, furniture from friends, family heirlooms and flea market finds.
Lococo House II has four elegant guest rooms, two exciting dining rooms, a large parlor and a spacious kitchen.
A GREAT Morning!A full breakfast is prepared with your overnight stay. Original Transoms, or interior windows that open so air can circulate over the doorways, sometimes allow delicious smells to waft from the kitchen to the rest of the house.
An inside smoking section is available.
